Our FPGA engineering roles span a wide range of activities that help deliver highly complex and high performing embedded solutions through the design, development and testing of custom digital hardware using Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).

At Leonardo, we are looking for talented FPGA engineers to deliver the complex firmware that forms part of our self-protection systems installed on fast jet, UAV, land and naval platforms. This includes the once-in-a-generation opportunity presented by the Global Combat Air System Programme (GCAP) to play a significant part in maturing and delivering a mission-critical component that will play a fundamental role in a defence programme of critical national importance.
